Train-the-Trainer (T3) Training

The Work@Health® program was designed to train U.S. employers and other participants how to establish, expand and improve science- and practice-based health promotion strategies that would lead to specific, measurable means to reduce chronic disease rates in the worksite.

Work@Health® Train-the-Trainer (certified) training provides participants with the knowledge and tools to train employers how to promote good health in their worksites to prevent or reduce chronic illness and disability, thereby improving productivity and the competitiveness of employers participating in this training program.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Has held a leadership role for at least one year within the organization (C-suite executive, manager, program director, wellness coordinator)
  • Experience in worksite health, delivering formal training and training in worksite health
  • Experience recruiting participants a plus
  • Has received worksite health promotion and protection training or completed continuing education courses within the last 5 years
  • Example certifications and/or credentials include:
    • Registered Dietitian
    • Registered Nurse
    • Occupational Health Nurse
    • Physician
    • Diabetes Educator
    • Community Health Educator
    • Certified Health Education Specialist
    • Certified Wellness Coach
    • Certified Wellness Practitioner
    • Certified Wellness Program Manager
    • Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist
    • Certified Fitness Instructor/Trainer
    • Certified Tobacco Cessation Counselor
